Spot Pond Tree Service History

My name is Bob Pollino, and I began my career in the tree service industry shortly after graduating from Stoneham High School in Stoneham, Massachusetts, in 1975. A close high school friend’s father owned a well-established local tree company and was looking for help. I joined the company right out of high school and spent nearly four years learning every aspect of the business. During that time, I handled tree climbing, removals, pruning, and the day-to-day responsibilities of professional tree care. After several years, I asked for a raise and was turned down. That moment inspired me to start my own company and build a business based on hard work, quality service, and customer satisfaction.

Spot Pond Tree Service, Inc. was born.

The company was named after Spot Pond, a well-known landmark in my hometown of Stoneham, located about five miles north of downtown Boston. Spot Pond was a familiar reference point in local traffic reports and a popular swimming destination for residents.

I began advertising in the local newspaper, the Stoneham Independent, and soon started building a loyal customer base. As business grew, I reinvested in equipment and expanded operations year after year.

Eventually, I relocated the business to New Hampshire’s beautiful Lakes Region in Moultonborough, NH, while continuing to grow and serve customers throughout the area. Later, I expanded operations to my winter home in Deerfield Beach, Florida, where the company has continued to thrive.

In 2009, I became licensed in Broward County, Florida (CC# B-992), and have proudly provided professional tree services throughout Deerfield Beach, Broward County, and Southern Palm Beach County ever since.

Today, Spot Pond Tree Service is known for fast, reliable service, fair pricing, and quality workmanship. We provide free estimates for both residential and commercial properties and are committed to helping our customers maintain safe and beautiful landscapes.
